Do your drivers overtake other vehicles only on the left?
Do they avoid blocking passing lanes? Do they yield to faster traffic by
moving to the right? Do they recognize hazards while there is time to
respond to the situation?
Let's face it ... We all become lax when we've been
on the road awhile and forget to practice driving safely.
This four hour National Safety Council course
addresses core concepts of defensive driving, preventable collisions,
personal responsibility and driving to protect others and hazard
recognition.
In addition, the course also looks at three
factors contributing to collisions:
The driver
The vehicle
Road conditions
This program will remind drivers of their responsibility to
protect the motoring public, safeguard your company image and improve your
bottom line by avoiding costly citations and collisions. Don't let your
Safe-Stat rating trigger inspections every time your commercial vehicle hits
the highway!
Drivers will receive National Safety
Council defense driving materials and certificate of completion after
attending the course.
